I love this little carrier for two specific reasons: it’s full of clever pockets for storage while remaining small overall AND it actually stays in place, rather than gradually descending under the force of gravity (and the weight of my terrier/chi mix). This matters so much when it comes to riding a bike because I needed to secure my little guy high on my chest, preferably in front while getting him acclimated, and the problem with my other backpack carriers was that my knees would inevitably hit the bottom of them while pedaling because they wouldn’t stay in place. This little beauty works like a dream! I’ve now worn it in front and in back, with the straps crossed and with them straight over my shoulders, and I can say that it performs exactly as I’d hoped - all while being a diminutive size and extremely lightweight. Bonus that it came in mint!
My little one looks so comfy and cute in this plus the bag is practical and well made!
I have an 8 pound Yorkie and she loves this backpack. I like it because it’s not super oversized but there’s enough room for her and it is not bulky and does not jab me in the back when I walk.
My 16 year old toy poodle, Biscuit, is not as fast of a walker as he once was which poses a challenge when trying to exercise my other 50lb dog. I have been through countless fancy dog backpacks and none allow you to wear the pack comfortably on your front AND back, which is such a useful tool in my opinion, especially if you are going to be wearing it for any extended time (hikes, beach walks, out at restaurants, etc. ) or like to be able to check on your pup. My pup is comfortable and there are plenty of pockets to carry water, a phone, a ball for fetch, and a towel in the bottom of the bag for last minute picnics.
This carrier is perfect and so well thought out! It has multiple pockets including a zippered pocket. It’s roomy yet low profile and comfortable for me and my dog, Digby. It’s exactly what we need for outings to local breweries. I love that it can be used on your chest or back…GENIUS!!!
